Functioning Website!

Hello, everyone!

After much work, our website is now functioning properly and we are happy to share it with all our friends!

Our news right now is as follows:

We are officially accepted by Assemblies of God World Missions to go on our two year mission trip to Moldova.  So now we must begin to raise our support.  We will be sending out our support letters soon, and if you would like to receive one, please join our mailing list by clicking here. This is a big job for us, and we would appreciate all the prayers and gifts all of you, our friends, are willing to give.

In the meantime, we have been preparing ourselves for a life of ministry.  This past year we had the great pleasure of teaching the preschoolers Sunday School at our church.  That was a wonderful experience for us.  We learned a lot from it and we hope the kids did, too!  We hope to be able to use what we learned when we are in Moldova, for children’s ministry is sorely lacking over there.

We are also studying Russian, because that is one of the two official languages of the country (the other being Romanian).  We have the Rosetta Stone program, which is proving to be an excellent program for learning language.  We hope to have a good basis and understanding of the language before we go so that we can begin with communication right away.
