Welcome to the Stitt Family Website!

We are a family who dearly loves the Lord and have pledged our lives to His service.  He has placed a heavy calling on our lives to help the helpless, particularly those who are victims of human trafficking, a horrible, worldwide slave trade in which women and children are kidnapped and forced into a life of prostitution.  In order to fulfill this life-long vision the Lord has lain upon us, we are making plans to move to the country of Moldova, in Eastern Europe, where we will partner with Andy and Nancy Raatz, a missionary family living there who are doing wonderful works for the LORD, especially in the area of human trafficking. They have a Home of Hope there, a refuge where victims of this evil practice may come to find healing and restoration and safety in the arms of Jesus, their Saviour. They may also find educational opportunities which will help to regain them a place in a functioning society.

We have signed up through Assemblies of God World Missions to work with the Raatzs for 2 years, initially.  We are currently trying to raise our support, and if all goes well, we hope to leave sometime early in 2009. It will take a lot of work and a lot of prayer to get us there, but we know that God has called us to fulfill this vision and therefore , He will find a way.
